Artur, the death issue

I enjoyed working with this magazine as designer and illustrator because of the freedom of creativity encouraged by the Art Director. This edition actually went on to win silver in the Art Directors club in 1996 (I'm not 100% sure of that year!). We used a lot of experimental techniques and papers through each edition; this one was printed on heavy black paper and used silver and gold ink. It really has to be seen in real life to appreciate the depth given to the black and white photos. I was a designer at the start of my career and the experience given to me through Artur was very valuable indeed.
